1. Wash hands thoroughly before applying MEBO.

2. Gently remove any debris from the wound with sterilized cotton swab. |

3. Clean the skin around the wound with alcohol swab. (Caution: don¡¯t touch the wound with alcohol.) |

4. Squeeze the prescribed amount* of MEBO onto the ruler side of the inner dressing package. Use a sterile tongue depressor to transfer the MEBO onto the wound. Apply 2mm ¨C 3mm layer of the MEBO evenly over the ulcer, twice daily.

5. Cover the ulcer with sterile gauze pad. Wrap a soft, dry gauze bandage over the pad if needed. Secure the wrap gauze bandage with adhesive tape. (Make sure the adhesive is secured to the gauze and not to the skin). |

6. After 12 hours, remove the dressing; gently remove any excess MEBO or debris with sterile cotton swab, repeat the above procedures.

* The amount of MEBO to be applied will vary depending upon the size of the ulcer area.
